For the second year in a row there is a car that has reached the top of the sales charts beating out competitors like the Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic. That vehicle is the fan-favorite Ford Focus (trying saying that three times fast). The Ford Focus sold better than other cars on the market in 2012 and 2013.
Ford and Toyota have debated in the past whether or not the Focus is actually the best-selling car in the world, with the Japanese automaker claiming the Corolla excels more. According to USA Today, “At least Ford looks to a respected third-party for validation, the data analysis firm R.L. Polk. Ford says Focus registrations from January through September last year grew to 856,587 which is a 16.1% year-over-year increase.”
These numbers simply don’t lie about the facts. The Ford Focus sold better than the Corolla, and we have some suggestions as to why. Looking at past and current Focuses, they provide a roomy, comfortable, and safe interior inside a compact car that also comes with a sleek exterior and technology.
