On Nov. 23, One Simple Wish, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting foster children, received a wish of their own as they were ceremoniously presented with a brand new Toyota Highlander. The non-profit was the first of many winners in Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good program.
The program awards non-profit organizations with their choice of the Toyota Highlander, Prius, Sienna, Sienna Mobility or Tundra. In its third year, 100 Cars for Good will have given away 300 vehicles by the time the last car is delivered sometime in the next few months.
Who chose which organizations won? We did. Voting took place on Facebook between Oct. 1 and Nov. 19, and two winning charities were chosen daily.
“As another successful 100 Cars for Good comes to a close, it’s just the beginning for the charities who have new vehicles to broaden and support their good work,” said Michael Rouse, Toyota’s vice president of diversity, philanthropy and community affairs in the U.S. “We are proud to give back to so many inspiring groups and strengthen our commitment to supporting communities around the country.”
Congratulations to all the deserving winners from all of us here at Pfeiffer Used Cars!
